Until I returned home and looked at the images taken in Nice, I didn't realize that I had captured this special romantic moment with my lens. My husband and I took about an hour on our last night in France and wandered to the main square downtown after dinner. I loved the lights and patterns, architecture, and leading lines of the setting, so I took many pictures. However, I didn't pay much attention to the people that were on the streets at the time. I only wish I could somehow contact this couple to offer them a copy of the image!
Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator. Currently, much of my time revolves around travel and photography, and when I'm not traveling and taking pictures, I'm thinking about traveling and taking pictures! The Tennessee valley is my home, so I am surrounded by some of the most scenic areas of the United States with the added bonus of plentiful wildlife and birds...literally paradise for a photographer!
