Description
The picturesque village of Yvoire was the first place I visited while in France. It was a wonderful introduction to the charm and allure of a most fascinating country. With so many little idyllic villages set on cobblestone streets and the huge country chateaus dotting the countryside, in addition to famous cities like Nice and Paris, how could I not totally fall in love with France? Every place we went was bright and beautiful with flowers everywhere! I particularly like this image because the residence is so typical of homes that we saw there. My original photograph has been digitally enhanced to achieve a painterly presentation.
